Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies is a subsidiary of J&J that researches, markets, distributes and sells consumer products aimed at mothers and babies. That includes Johnson’s Baby Powder.

Talcum powder cancer lawsuits are just the most recent in a long list of product liability lawsuits brought against Johnson & Johnson. A woman recently won a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the company for the injuries she experienced as the result of their vaginal mesh implant. There have been other dangerous, defective, and recalled products sold by the company. The company’s reputation has suffered over the years as a result of problems with many of their popular products including Tylenol, Bausch & Lomb contact lenses, hip replacement parts, prescription drugs, and now talcum powder.
